How to Update Your PilotAware Wi-Fi Name and Password
Power Up Rosetta:
- Turn on your Rosetta device and wait for the Wi-Fi network to appear.
Connect to PilotAware Wi-Fi:
- On your tablet or phone, connect to the PilotAware Wi-Fi network.
Open the Web Interface:
- Open your browser and serch for 192.168.1.1
- This will open up the PilotAware Web interface (Usually a compass rose)
- If it brings up a google search, make sure your device is connected to PilotAware, and that you're searching using the standard URL bar.
Go to the Network Page:
- In the web interface, go to the "Network" page.
Change Wi-Fi Name and Password:
- Update the SSID (Wi-Fi name) to something more recognisable.
- Change the password to secure the Wi-Fi link.
- Ensure you keep a record of the new login details.
Apply Changes:
- Click "Save". This action will cause the Rosetta to restart. Your device will lose it's connection to PilotAware during this time.
Reconnect to Wi-Fi:
- After the restart, go back to the Wi-Fi settings on your mobile device.
- Connect to the newly changed SSID and enter the new password to join.
